Ciudad Esmeralda has multiple parks with a variety of elements that differentiate them from the rest, and helps to connect diverse areas of the city, shaping a large linear park. This strategy allows to maintain a pleasant temperature throughout the city, encourages sustainable mobility, and generates areas of recreation available to all users.
In the specific case of this park, located in the Ciudad Judicial sector, the land is located on a slump that has small natural drains, which we decide to keep, only leading them with a landscape intervention that evokes the organic movement of water. The existing vegetation is respected and complemented, with maculí trees and native acacias. The paths are woven with the water mirror and landscaped areas, surrounded by gravel walks, which generates a set of textures that encourage users to explore the park, either on foot, or by bicycles.
At the two bordering poles of the park, two buildings are located. Due to the proximity to the Poder Judicial building, it is common for employees and officials of the institution to go out to a nearby space for a snack, at an affordable cost, with the necessary addition of a space to be able to consume it calmly.
The first building, located at the far left, consists of a series of small hawker stalls for restricted street trade. With a central spatial organization, the stalls line the diner area, which in turn surrounds an internal garden. The second building, located on the far right, is intended to be a space of temporary artistic exhibitions.
